Every year, we experience extreme drought and floods across India. This is because we, as inhabitants of this glorious land, have fallen short of taking care of our rivers, the lifelines of India. Ram Nadi, a 19.20 km long river in Maharashtra, has met the same fate as many other rivers and their tributaries. It has been bunded and fragmented due to human intervention. With a clear focus to restore the Ram Nadi to its ever-flowing glory, Kirloskar Vasundhara and 12 esteemed organisations have come together and created the Ram Nadi Restoration Mission.
