Dr. V Shubhalaxmi Reddy is an award-winning entomologist, educationist and entrepreneur. Dr Reddy began as a Moth Researcher in 1993 with the Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS), before becoming an Environmental Educator in 1997, eventually transforming into an Ecopreneur in 2014. Nature conservation and environmental protection are the primary domains she specialises in. test

Over the last two decades, she has founded three entities: Ladybird Environmental Consulting (LEC), Birdwing Publishers and iNaturewatch Foundation. LEC was established in 2014 and works with listed companies and government departments. test

Birdwing Publishers is the publishing business of LEC and an online bookstore. iNaturewatch Foundation is a charitable trust working on urban biodiversity and citizen science across India since 2014. In just three years, she has conducted 50 programs at 31 different sites. test

Dr. V Shubhalaxmi Reddy was a part of the Urban Ecology course for NMMS University, Mumbai. She is currently working on a yearlong project of restoring the Kharghar Valley trail. She has been awarded with the Tefla Wildlife Award for pioneering work in the field of insect conservation. She was also selected to be part of the International Panel for National Moth Week. test
